Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need an AirBench?

Do you have a dust extraction problem? Do you have issues with fume extraction? Is your working environment uncomfortable? AirBench is a better way of solving these problems; simply, quickly, and without heat loss.

Can I open an account?

We ask new customers to pay prior to, or on, delivery. We accept all major credit cards.
We welcome account payment for repeat customers.

How long is the guarantee?

12 months as standard. As an indicator we have quality issues on less than 1% of our production. Remedial work is carried out on site or at our works at our discretion, freight paid by us.

What power supply is needed?

All AirBenches are designed to run from a standard 13 amp, 240 volt supply. They include a preinstalled 3 metre mains lead and plug for fast installation.
AirBench can also be configured for 3 phase or 110 volt supply.

Do AirBenches produce a lot of noise?

On average, AirBench produces around 63 dba.
To put this in context, if you have a normal workshop with machines running, you will not notice
AirBench.  If you have a quiet area or precision work, you would benefit from speed control to adjust extraction levels and noise to optimum levels.

Do prices include delivery/offloading/installation?

Delivery is included within the UK mainland.  We use normal commercial couriers and offloading is not included, nor is positioning or installation.
All our units are workshop run before despatch and are supplied with a completed commissioning certificate.

Does AirBench comply with HSG258 and COSHH?

Every AirBench complies with HSG258 (click here for more information from the HSE website). Each unit is fully tested and commissioned before shipment, and a commissioning certificate provided. Real time performance monitoring is possible via the integral filter pressure gauge, allowing simple forecasting of filter life. To discuss HSG258 in more detail, contact us.

When correctly specified, AirBench allows you to comply with your obligations under COSHH.
