Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need an AirBench?

Do you have a dust extraction problem? Do you have issues with fume extraction? Is your working environment uncomfortable? AirBench is a better way of solving these problems; simply, quickly, and without heat loss.

Where are the filters?

Immediately beneath the surface in most models. Filters are generally interchangeable allowing you to update your AirBench to an alternative specification if required.

In the FPW/FPF/FPT range the final filter is housed in the box to the left hand side and is accessed through a removable door.

What filters do I need?

Call us; we are always happy to recommend a model and filterset.
Alternatively, use the
Choose my AirBench guide to select the appropriate configuration - just find an application similar to yours, then choose either standard or heavy duty construction - then click through to the model page to select the size required.
Our standard configurations cover most applications; if your application is not listed please ask.

How long will the filters last?

Disposable media pads should be changed at least monthly.  Most other filters will last 6 - 12 months generally.  In heavy use this may be less; ask us for guidance.

Can I clean the filters?

Generally filters can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner by removing the surface. Disposable media pads used in certain configurations cannot be cleaned. They are not self cleaning.
All filters will need changing eventually - ask us about estimated filter life for your application.

Can I have fine filters? Or HEPA filters?

We offer filtration to H12 HEPA grade; however, over-filtering will cost more money to buy and replace.
Our standard filter configurations have been designed and proven for almost all applications. Call us if you would like to discuss the correct selection.

Do I need ducting, or an external exhaust?

No. AirBench is self contained.
If required, we can supply
AirBench configured for connection to your ductwork, at no additional cost.
