R - Special Duty Fume

AirBench 'R' configurations are specified for extraction of fumes which cannot be addressed by standard carbon filtration; these include formaldehyde, hydrogen sulphide, and ammonia. The range uses a special blend of carbon media which contains alumina / potassium permanganate compounds contained within 300mm deep refillable carbon cells.

When the carbon media reaches the end of its life the cells are easily refilled, saving on full life cost by avoiding the need to replace a whole filter cell. The media has the added benefit of changing colour it reaches capacity providing a visual indicator of the need for replacement.

Note that 'R' configuration filters are available only in a limited model range.
