| AirBench FPT-D is specified for effective extraction of dust, fume, and debris generated during production welding, brazing, and similar processes where seated working is also required for accurate working - for example during TIG welding. This configuration features a unique 3 stage filter process. The first stage captures larger particles while the second stage features very low cost disposable pads to protect the main filter and extend its life to minimise filter costs; multiple direction changes promote drop out of the heavy particles which form most of the debris and dust in these operations. This configuration reduces the load on the final F9 media filter and hence reduces overall running costs. |

Construction Detail
| The heavy duty AirBench FPT ranges is constructed from fully welded 2mm steel panels, powder coated grey. The surface is constructed from 3mm thick perforated steel, powder coated after fabrication with a smooth finish. The available working surface is 1950 x 960, with actual ventilated area of 1200 x 600. This unit is designed to provide efficient downdraught dust or fume extraction whilst providing excellent working ergonomics, and is well suited to precision working where seated operation is required, for example during TIG welding. The main media filter is housed to the left of the working section and is positively clamped against soft rubber seals. It is accessed for servicing via a removable door. The two-stage prefilters are housed within the main body of the bench and are accessed for cleaning and changing via the top. Filter changes can be completed in minutes. A filter pressure loss gauge is provided as standard to allow real-time monitoring of filter condition.Units are delivered in two sections and require bolting together with 4 bolts (supplied) prior to use. All models are supplied complete with integral 240 volt fanset with IP56 motor enclosure, on/off switch, 3m mains lead and fused plug for rapid installation and setting to work. AirBench FPW and FPF are robust and are well suited to continuous, production level use with surface loads up to 150 kg. Specifications may vary; contact us to discuss the correct model and filter selection for your application. |
