Do not buy a bigger bench than you need -
How do your operators work? -
The performance of EX or FP benches is identical size for nominal size. The choice is really about appearance to suit your operation and type of use/abuse.Both designs are very robust.

Consider carefully buying your own COSHH test kit -
Don't mix ferrous and non ferrous in the same bench (basic good dust extraction practice). If you need to, keep a change of filters.
You can weld or bolt fixtures on to FP benches -
You can bolt vices to all surfaces.
If you normally work off an edge of a surface mount the component on blocks on the surface set back. AirBench will work easily on operations as much as 12 inches above the surface.
Partly blinding the surface components just enhances the exhaust effect on the open part. In fact AirBench will work with up to 95% of the surface blocked.
