AirBench by WorkPoint, leaders in downdraught extraction technology

AirBenches are produced to 3 construction standards - Standard Duty (EX), Heavy Duty (FP), and Heavy Duty with Kneespace (FPK)

- EX models are designed to support up to 50kg surface load.

- FP and FPK models are designed to support up to 150kg surface load.

Identify which of these best suits your needs - for example, EX.

AirBenches are also produced with a wide range of filter configurations - designated by a single letter, and listed down the left hand side of the page.

Identify an application which is similar to yours, and find the single letter configuration which matches this - for example, A.

Now find the point where your combination of construction and filter configuration is shown and click on the link to the model page - for example, EX-A.

If you don’t find an exact match - we can specify a combination that works for every situation - call us.

Finally, select the appropriate size from the model page - this will give you a model number - for example, EX126584A.

You may also want to consider options for your AirBench - follow the link on each model page to view examples.

Do not buy a bigger bench than you need - even if the product is say 900 deep or 2 m long, consider firstly how far your operators can reach - not many have 1m long arms for working!

How do your operators work?  - do they move the product about them or move along the product if it is long?  And if they do, would a change to work habits save you money on the AirBench?  You can always put a solid table to the rear or side for product support.

The performance of EX or FP benches is identical size for nominal size.  The choice is really about appearance to suit your operation and type of use/abuse.Both designs are very robust.

AirBench is self contained - you just plug it in to a standard 13 amp socket.

Wheels are nice - but AirBench is easily moved on a pallet truck - so if you do not need to move it regularly, don't buy wheels!

Consider carefully buying your own COSHH test kit - it will save you money over 2 years. Ask us for details.

Don't mix ferrous and non ferrous in the same bench (basic good dust extraction practice). If you need to, keep a change of filters.

You can weld or bolt fixtures on to FP benches - or we can do it for you.

You can bolt vices to all surfaces.

If you normally work off an edge of a surface mount the component on blocks on the surface set back.  AirBench will work easily on operations as much as 12 inches above the surface.

Partly blinding the surface components just enhances the exhaust effect on the open part.  In fact AirBench will work with up to 95% of the surface blocked.

70% of AirBenches are sold in filter configuration A.

65% of AirBenches are 1200x600 nominal size - EX126584 or FP126784
