Can I see one working?

No obligation on-site demonstrations are available to view AirBench in operation on your own dust or fume problem - contact us to book (click here). Or visit us at our factory (click here).

Where are the filters?

Immediately beneath the surface (except final filter in FPW/FPF which is in the side housing)

Can I clean them?

Yes, with a vacuum cleaner by removing the surface, except disposable media pads in certain configurations - however all filters will need changing eventually.  They are not self cleaning.

How long do they last?

Disposable media pads should be changed at least monthly.  Normal filters will last 6 - 12 months generally.  In heavy use this may be less but is usually longer.

What filters do I need?

The easiest option is to call us (click here) - we can help you choose. Alternatively, use the Choose my AirBench guide (click here) to select the configuration - just find an application similar to yours, then choose either standard or heavy duty construction - then click through to the model page to select your size.

Our standard configurations cover most applications.

Can I have fine filters?

Yes, but over filtering will cost more money to buy and replace. Our configurations have been designed and proven for almost all applications. Call us direct (click here) if you would like to discuss the correct selection!

Do I need a speed control?

Only if you want to control noise or extraction rates.  Typically it's not needed in industrial level applications such as workshop sanding or fettling, but powder dispensing and finer work such as model making does benefit.

Are AirBenches noisy?

On average 63 dba. To put this in context - if you have a normal workshop with machines running, you will not notice AirBench.  If you have a quiet area or precision work, you would benefit from speed control to adjust extraction levels and noise to optimum levels.

Do I need wheels?

Wheels are useful - but AirBench is easily moved on a pallet truck - so if you do not need to move it a lot, don't buy wheels!

Do I need ducting?

No. AirBench is self contained. We can arrange AirBench to be connected to ductwork if you require, at no additional cost.

Do I need an enclosure?

Very rarely and only if you use air lines for cleaning such as computer clean down.  To give a sense of proportion, 90% plus of AirBenches do not have an enclosure.  They are designed to work efficiently without them.

What about electrics?

All AirBenches come with a 3 metre mains lead and plug for a 13 amp, 240 volt standard socket.

Can I have a 110V version?

110V AirBenches are available as standard.

Why do I need one?

Do you have a dust extraction problem? Do you have issues with fume extraction? Is your working environment uncomfortable? AirBench is a better way of solving these problems; simply, quickly, and without heat loss.

Delivery and offloading?

Delivery is included within the UK mainland.  Offloading is not included, nor is positioning or installation - all our units are workshop run before despatch.

Guarantee?

12 months as standard. As an indicator we have quality issues on less than 1% of our production. Remedial work is carried out on site or at our works at our discretion, freight paid by us.

How do I pay?

By credit card or cheque on order or on delivery normally although we welcome account payment for repeat customers.
