What is a Dust Extraction System?
Designed to improve the air quality and cleanliness of your surroundings, dust extraction systems filter and trap fine dust generated from sanding, sawing and other processes before releasing clean air into the environment.
Our VertEx range solves dust issues where parts are too large for an AirBench – the modular range of dust extraction walls and booths.
All of our dust extraction systems are built to order in our factory in the East of England, and all are assembled from stock components, ensuring short lead times: solving specific problems using standard modular components and filter sets for rapid delivery.

Dust can cause health problems when inhaled, potentially leading to a range of illnesses from occupational asthma through to various cancers, respiratory issues and heart-related diseases.
It can also be combustible. As a potential fire hazard, it could cause injury to your personnel.
Protect Your Products
A clean environment is essential for proper finishing, packing and product despatch. Capturing dust at source, using a proven dust collector, helps ensure general workplace cleanliness.

Is dust extraction necessary in the workplace?
Since April 2022, the Health and Safety Executive has been very focused on woodworking businesses, in particular, due to an increased number of deaths from lung diseases. Some other conditions linked to and caused by exposure to wood dust can include asthma, nasal cancer, dermatitis, and irritation of the eyes, nose and throat.
An effective industrial dust extraction system will not only help keep the workplace tidy, it will also improve quality of life and health, most commonly in the following environments:
- Factories
- Warehouses
- Manufacturing and processing (metalworking, woodworking, plastics and composites, textile industry)
- Recycling (electronics, plastic, metal, wood & biomass, glass)
- Automotive and engineering
- Electronics and semiconductor manufacturing (PCB manufacturing, chip and semiconductor fabrication, laser cutting and engraving)
Our products range from small and very localised benches to large modular booth systems. You can learn more about how our industrial dust extraction solutions help different sectors by visiting our case studies page.
