GHL Tech of Blackwood, a laboratory instrument manufacturer, have reported positive feedback from operators when using their new AirBench.
Gareth Llewellyn of GHL said:
We at GHL TECH develop and manufacture laboratory instruments for a Global medical equipment manufacturer.
During the manufacturing process, some of the aluminium parts are normally marked or scratched on the customer visible surfaces. Prior to the anodising of the material we sand out the mark/scratches to give a near enough perfect finish after processing. The sanding of the material produces lots of aluminium dust, which we use an Airbench to help reduce. The dust gets airborne, so the Airbench acts as filtration for the parts and the facility, not just protecting the employee carrying out the sanding, but also minimising the amount of dust being transferred around out facility.
The amount of aluminium dust in our facility has dramatically reduced since installation. Previously we had to maintain a strict cleaning process and schedule. This has been reduced by the use of the Airbench.
Overall we are very happy with the purchase and would recommend to others.
