Why Do I Need Coolant Mist Filters?

Mist from machining is a hazard to operators. Inhalation of oil and coolant mist (MWF Mist) can cause lung disorders ranging from work-related asthma, bronchitis, irritation of the respiratory tract and breathing difficulties through to extrinsic allergic alveolitis.

Coolant mist filters are connected to your machine tool to extract mist, filter it, and return cleaned air to the room.

How Coolant Mist Filters Work

Prefiltration for Large Particles

Pre filters in mesh or fabric capture swarf and contaminants to protect the main filter.

Final HEPA Filtration
